Frequently asked questions

Will the person know I watched their story?

No. You aren’t logged in to Snapchat on this site, so no name or account goes on their viewer list. Snapchat sees a request from our server for a public page, nothing more.

Can I view private Snapchat stories?

No. Friends-only stories are only sent to people on the owner’s friends list, inside the app. No website can show them, and sites that claim to are scams.

Do I need a Snapchat account?

No. Everything shown here is public on snapchat.com and opens without signing in. You don’t need an account on this site either.

How do I download a Snapchat story?

Open the profile, tap the snap, then press Save. Videos download as MP4 and photos as JPG. On iPhone, if the video opens instead, use Share → Save Video.

Can I download Spotlight videos?

Yes. Paste the Spotlight link into the box, or open the creator’s profile and go to the Spotlight section. Each video has a Save button.

Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up, no card details and no download limit for normal use.

Why does a profile show “no public profile”?

The username may be misspelled, the account may not have a public profile, or it may have been renamed, deleted or banned.

How recent are the stories?

At most 5 minutes old. We keep a copy of each profile for 5 minutes so popular pages load fast, then fetch it again.

Does the person get notified when I view their profile?

No. Viewing a public profile page doesn’t send a notification, and you aren’t logged in here, so there’s no account to report.

Can I see who someone follows?

No. Snapchat doesn’t publish friends or following lists, on the web or in the app.

Why is the subscriber count missing?

Public profile owners can hide it. Some accounts never show it.

Can I download a whole story at once?

Not yet; each snap is saved separately. Most stories are under 20 snaps.

Does the owner know I downloaded their story?

No. Screenshot and save alerts only exist inside the Snapchat app.

Why did the story disappear?

Most public stories expire 24 hours after each snap is posted. Check the Highlights section for saved ones.

Is there a watermark?

No watermark is added by us. If the creator burned in text or a username, that stays.

Can I download Spotlight videos from private accounts?

Spotlight videos are public by design. If a link doesn’t open, the video was removed or the link is incomplete.

Does it work on Android and iPhone?

Yes, in any modern browser. On iPhone use Share → Save Video if the file opens instead of downloading.

Can I convert Snapchat videos to MP3?

Not here. Any video player or editor can export the audio from the MP4.

Does “not found” mean the username is free?

Not necessarily. Most private accounts have no public page. Snapchat only tells you a username is taken when you try to register it.

Can I search by real name?

No. The web only has profiles by username. Search by name works inside the Snapchat app.

How often does the count update?

We fetch the profile again every 5 minutes. Snapchat itself updates the public number less often.

Can I see someone’s Snap Score here?

No. Snap Score is only visible to friends inside the app.

Why does Snapchat say “Could not connect”?

Usually a network problem on your side: try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, or the other way round.

Snaps won’t send but the app opens?

Check that Snapchat has permission to use mobile data, then clear the cache. If it lasts more than an hour, it’s often a Snapchat outage.
